Pair of José Armchairs by Guillerme & Chambron
Pair of José Armchairs by Guillerme & Chambron
This pair of 'José' lounge chairs, designed by Robert Guillerme and Jacques Chambron for Votre Maison in the 1970s, embodies the graceful warmth of French modern design. Crafted from solid oak, the chairs feature gently curved armrests and a streamlined silhouette. The backrest is distinguished by a carved clover cutout that offers a playful decorative touch to the chair’s refined form.
A wonderful example of classic mid-century French furniture, the chairs combine comfort with graceful, well-balanced proportions. They have been upholstered in a soft green cotton from Romo with contrasting piping. Each of our items can be refinished or reupholstered in a fabric of your choice—please reach out for more information. The chairs are in good vintage condition.
