P3S Lounge Chair by Tito Agnoli

Wicker chaise longue by Tito Agnoli for Bonacina, Italy, 1960s. Agnoli, a Peruvian-born architect and designer who studied with Gio Ponti, was known for his restrained, functionalist approach. His collaboration with Bonacina 1889, the Brianza atelier famed for its cane and rattan craft, produced enduring icons of postwar Italian design.

This chaise combines Bonacina’s handwoven rattan with Agnoli’s disciplined lines, achieving a piece that is both sculptural and functional. The wicker has developed a warm patina, and the frame remains strong—a wonderful example of Italian mid-century design.
