Model 306 Adjustable Table / Wall Lamp by Kaare Klint for Le Klint
Early model Danish modern lamps designed by architect Kaare Klint for Le Klint, Model 306. Conceived in the 1940s and produced through the 1950s, the design reflects Klint’s approach to lighting: adaptable, precise, and modestly elegant.
Model 306 may rest on a surface or mount to the wall, its hinged arm allowing the light to pivot and adjust in position—an inventive dual-purpose solution that anticipated later multifunctional Scandinavian designs.
Executed in lacquered brass with bakelite fittings, the lamps embody the material warmth and functional clarity characteristic of postwar Danish design. The brass surfaces show gentle age and tonal variation, developing the soft patina that defines authentic mid-century originals.
Each lamp retains its original EU wiring and can be rewired for U.S. use by request.
