Guillerme & Chambron Stained Oak Nesting Tables
Guillerme & Chambron Stained Oak Nesting Tables
Rare and refined, this set of three nesting tables by Guillerme & Chambron for Votre Maison, France, 1950s, showcases the duo’s visual vocabulary, defined by angular legs, visible joinery, and the interplay of oak and ceramic.
Each stained oak table features distinctive angular legs joined by stretchers, with the tabletops inlaid with vibrant geometric and organic ceramic tile designs in contrasting color palettes. The tiles are attributed to Boleslaw Danikowski, a frequent collaborator of the designers and have some small chips.
The interplay of oak and glazed ceramic reflects the material warmth and craftsmanship central to Guillerme & Chambron’s work.
